FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Derek Falkenstein and Bobby Oliverio, therapists for Country Roads Physical Therapy, recently completed additional training that will help them better serve CRPT patients.
Both men completed Evidence in Motion’s year-long Executive Program In Private Practice Management, and Falkenstein also received his doctorate in physical therapy through a related program. Portions of the program were completed online, with on-site classes in Louisville, Ky., Dallas and San Diego.
“The Evidence in Motion program really is the gold standard for physical therapy practices around the country,” said Falkenstein, who co-owns Country Roads Physical Therapy with Michael Barkley. “They help us instill best practices that make our physical therapy treatments an even more effective part of health care delivery.”
Country Roads operates two clinics in Fairmont and last year opened a new location in Buckhannon that serves residents of Upshur, Lewis, Barbour and Randolph counties.
“In addition to the knowledge we gained over the past year, the program helps us develop a network of fellow practitioners with whom we develop long-term relationships,” Oliverio noted. “That continuing dialog will help keep Country Roads on the cutting edge when it comes to physical therapy practices.”
The executive program also helps managers implement best practices that will benefit all therapists at Country Roads and, by extension, their patients.
“We truly are committed to excellence at all of our locations, and that’s why we have been successful,” Barkley commented. “We want to be viewed as the gold standard in physical therapy, and this is part of that effort. As we continue to grow, we will ensure that all of our therapists and support staff exemplify the high standards that are part of the Evidence in Motion program.”
