Fairmont, W.Va. – Four new employees have joined Country Roads Physical Therapy Buckhannon and West Fairmont clinics. With the addition of the new employees, Country Roads now has two physical therapists, a physical therapist assistant and a rehabilitation technician to add to the well-established organization.
Lisa McCune joined the Country Roads Buckhannon office in June as a physical therapist. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from West Virginia University. “I am very happy to be at Country Roads Physical Therapy because I know that I am working alongside a highly trained and motivated team who are all dedicated to the care and recovery of their patients,” said Lisa McCune.
In addition to McCune, the Buckhannon location also welcomed physical therapist assistant Kayla Adams in late July. Kayla received her degree from Pierpont Community and Technical College’s Physical Therapy Assistant Program. “I love the philosophy they bring to treatment, including the individualized treatment plans and commitment to compassionate care.” said Kayla Adams.
“We’re very pleased to have Lisa and Kayla join our team,” said Bobby Oliverio, director of the Buckhannon Clinic. “Their philosophy is a great fit with our mission to provide hands-on therapy services that improve the lives of our patients.”
The West Fairmont clinic also opened its doors to two new employees. Mary Mayer, a certified athletic trainer, started in May as a rehabilitation technician and Melissa Henry started in June as a physical therapist.
As a former softball player for her alma mater Alderson-Broaddus College, Mary’s passion for sports allows her to relate well to patients who come to Country Roads with sports related injuries. In her free time, Mary coaches high school softball.
Melissa Henry has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Fairmont State University and a doctorate in physical therapy from West Virginia University.
“It’s very exciting to be able to provide opportunities for new therapists in our hometown where Country Roads got its start,” said Derek Falkenstein, co-owner and West Fairmont clinic director. “As a former player on the Women’s Basketball Team at FSU, Henry will also be able to show genuine compassion and empathy to our patients with sports injuries. We’re very fortunate to have two new members of our team that are sports enthusiasts and committed to helping our patients get back to their game immediately, ”said Falkenstein.
“I couldn’t be happier working with Derek and his team. I am looking forward to helping all the patients get back on the road to recovery,” said Melissa Henry.
All of the certified licensed physical therapists at Country Roads Physical Therapy are committed to providing the highest quality care with a hometown friendly service. Country Roads Physical Therapy has four locations: East Fairmont, West Fairmont, Buckhannon and Wheeling.
